The 2007 Exhibition

Digby Memorial Hall

The 2007 Annual Exhibition again centred on the Digby Memorial Hall and the adjacent Mechanics Institute. However this year we took over the entire car park of the Hall to house the McCallum Family Reunion and the greatly expanded activities and displays. Indeed, with the Digby Historic Walk and a Cobb & Co. coach providing tours, we had the entire town covered.

Of course we (the Vern McCallum Collection) didn't organise all this by ourselves: we cooperated with the Digby Memorial Hall Committee and the townsfolk. Community involvement was amazing, with many new faces seen amongst the organisers and workers. This year easily surpassed the 2006 Exhibition, and now holds the title of The Biggest Event in Digby for Many Years. There is so much to report on that we have had to spread ourselves over several pages.
