A shot of "the boys"in action at "Chute".
In a terrific offer to the Hamilton Motor Cycle Club the Ellis family, who owned the property, offered the perminent use of a large paddock as a race track. It was situated on the Portland road ,right hand side ,just a couple of miles out of Hamilton. The track became famous throughout the scramble racing community.
Alan told me that these shots are definately taken at 'Chute",after a couple of laps you couldn't see your hand in front of your face most of the time.
