Price's saw mill at Milltown.

Jim Price has the white beard. The last on the right, seated, is Frank Price. Joe Price, with the hat, lived over the railway line on the Mt Clay road. Little George Price stands with his arms folded. Joe and Frank Price were Jim's sons. Richard Price, native of Oxfordshire, England was for some time a member of the Metropolitan Police Force. He came to Victoria in 1854 landing in Portland with his wife and eight children, and no money. He was engaged on a farm where he remained for about twelve months, and was afterwaeds employed in various capacities. He commenced in the sawmill business at Myamyn in 1867 and that branch is now carried on by his sons. On 1878 he established a timber and iron business in Hamilton from which he has retired having leased it to Mr Aiken.
